If you are familiar with the principles of TLS pressurized containers, understanding their production process is the next step to appreciating the craftsmanship behind these crucial systems. This blog will walk you through the key stages of manufacturing a custom pressurized container, ensuring functionality, reliability, and precision every step of the way.
1. Requirement Analysis and Design
Effective communication with the client forms the foundation of this phase. We should define the application firstly( e.g : enclosure Motor control centre (MCC) pressurized shelter|MCC enclosure Motor circuit protection (MCP) container|MCP container Power control centre(PCC) pressurized shelter|enclosure|container Variable speed driver (VSD) pressurized ect)
  •  Confirm the specify parameters such as pressure range, volume, material, and temperature control requirements     with the client during this period.
  •  Early design reviews are critical, confirming and revising designs at this stage helps avoid rework and   unnecessary cost increases later.
2. Material Preparation
  • Ensure all materials meet quality standards and are ready for the manufacturing phase.
  • Adherence to stringent DNV 2.7-1, EN 12079,IEC 60079-13, and SOLAS standards further underscores our dedication to quality and safety.
3. Container Fabrication
  •  Utilize laser cutting and CNC machining for accurate component processing.
  •  Ensure welding and surface treatment enhance both the appearance and durability of the product.
  •  Airtightness is crucial during welding, as it directly impacts the final sealing performance.
4. Component Installation
  •  Fan and duct installation should guarantee smooth airflow .
  •  Electrical wiring must be neat and standardized, avoiding interference or overheating issues.
  •  Sealing components are vital for maintaining positive pressure; ensure airtightness during installation.
5. Testing and acceptance
TLS testing and acceptance are critical.Simulate real-world operating conditions to identify potential issues during operation.Record detailed data during debugging to support quality.
  •  Visual Inspection
          a) Inspection of equipment placement and installation of positive pressure explosion-proof control system
          b) Positive pressure container seal and marking inspection
  •  Insulation Resistance Test for the CPFG control box.
  •  Power-on inspection.
  •  System display screen operation check( e. g Main screen switching,Current alarm and status display screen).
  •  Function Check(Test airflow, pressure, electrical functionality, and overall performance according to specific   procedures).
  •  Measurement of air flow at the air outlet and setting of purge delay.
6. Cleaning and Packaging
  •  Clean surfaces and disinfect internal(when necessary) to improve delivery quality.
  •  Package appropriately based on transportation methods and client site conditions, protecting the equipment and simplifying installation.
7. Final Inspection and Delivery
Complete a thorough inspection and deliver a product that satisfies the client.
  •  Follow strict standards for factory inspection; provide detailed reports and certificates of compliance to earn client   trust.
  •  Offer after-sales support as a long-term commitment, essential for customer loyalty.
  •  TLS offshore pressurised containers are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with requirements of   the following latest editions standards and regulations.
  •  DNV2.7-1 - Offshore containers (optional: third party certificate from BV, DNV or LRs)
  •  IEC 60079-13:2017 - design, construction, assessment, verification and marking of rooms used to protect internal   equipment (certificate of conformity from third party) (BV certificate of conformity, DNV certificate of conformity,   CCS certificate of conformity)
  •  IECEx/ATEX
  •  A0, A60 (certificate of conformity from third party) (BV certificate of conformity, DNV certificate of conformity, CCS   certificate of conformity)
  •  Zone 1 / Zone 2 rated (certificate of conformity from third party) (BV certificate of conformity, DNV certificate of   conformity, CCS certificate of conformity)
  •  EN 12079 - Offshore containers - Design, construction, testing, inspection marking.
  •  ISO 668 - Onshore ISO containers - Design, construction, testing, inspection marking. (optional for onshore   container application)
  •  ISO 1161 - Specification of corner fittings for series 1 freight containers.
  •  CSC - International convention for safe containers
  •  Certificate of conformity from third party (DNV or BV) for A60, Zone 1 / Zone 2, SOLAS and IEC60079-13 (BV   certificate of conformity, DNV certificate of conformity, CCS certificate of conformity)
  •  Supplied offshore containers are marked for offshore use and complete with full material trace report, load test     and  NDT Certificates, and DNV 2.7.1 certification/EN 12079.
