Safety, Certification and Compliance
Safety is fundamental to every TLS pressurised container. Systems can incorporate fire and smoke detection, flammable-gas and H₂S detection, emergency shutdown, fire dampers, fire suppression and Ex-approved pressurisation equipment.
Containers can be designed and manufactured in accordance with applicable requirements of:
- DNV 2.7-1 for offshore containers
- EN 12079 for offshore-container design, construction, testing and marking
- IEC 60079-13:2017 for pressurised rooms protecting internal equipment
- ATEX and IECEx requirements for hazardous areas
- SOLAS and A0/A60 passive fire-protection requirements
- ISO 668 and ISO 1161 where onshore ISO-container standards apply
- CSC requirements for the International Convention for Safe Containers
Third-party certification and certificates of conformity can be provided by recognised bodies such as DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register or CCS, subject to the project requirements.
Integrated Systems and Rapid Deployment
TLS containers are engineered for efficient mobilisation and straightforward site integration. Depending on the application, they can include data communication networks, fire suppression, air-conditioning systems and pre-commissioned electrical and instrumentation packages.
Each unit can be supplied with material traceability documentation, load-test records, NDT certificates and the required offshore-container certification.
