As early as the 1950s, the motor center was widely used by the automotive industry to control manufacturing, and many industrial motor companies used motor control center to install directly and other equipment at the location center. Although many motor control centers(MCCs) are located directly on the factory floor, there are additional benefits to having the motor control center located in the shell of a shipping container.
  • Protect the motor control center, which can improve it to a certain extent and prolong the service life of the internal equipment of the motor under the condition of no interference and operation under the temperature, and improve the operation efficiency of the whole system.
  • The outer shell of the shipping container is more convenient for transportation and transfer, and the installation is convenient and fast, which provides possibility for temporary call or emergency replacement.
  • The traditional work of MCC system and maintenance is simplified. The containerized motor control center usually carries out integrated control on the assembled equipment. The monitoring and regulation of the system also improves the efficiency of daily maintenance and use.
  • Because of the protection from the shell, motor control center for the environment becomes less demanding, TLS provide containerization motor control center housing can be according to your requirements designed to conform to the DNV2.7-1, A60 fire, IECEx | ATEX explosion-proof, can be used in ZONE1 | ZONE2 environmental standards.

Motor control center (MCC) shelters consist of single or multiple electrical units, which are combined to meet larger application needs. These components allow engineers to control electric motors from a central location, such as a mechanical or electrical room.
MCCs are typically found in large commercial or industrial buildings and typically contain motor starters, circuit breakers, programmable controllers, metering devices, etc. MCCs may be used in any facility that operates a large number of electric motors.
There is always the possibility or risk of fire or explosion when MCCs are used in, around or near flammable gases or vapors, flammable liquids, flammable dust, flammable fibers or droplets.
The MCC shelter provided by TLS integrates sensors, fire and gas systems, intelligent PLC, fire dampers, air conditioners, etc. in a positive pressure container environment, which helps isolate the control systems in the MCC shelter from the external hazardous environment and facilitates the operation of surrounding systems. Increase the safety factor of the construction environment.
The MCC shelter provided by TLS can meet DNV2.7-1| EN12079, pass third-party certification such as CCS and BV, and can be customized according to customer‘s requirements, which can also be used for Power control centre (PCC), Variable speed driver (VSD), Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) shelter.
