What is negative pressure?
When the exhaust air volume in the space is greater than the air intake volume, the space is in a negative pressure state, the air outside flows into the interior and is discharged through the exhaust outlet for centralized treatment.

When to choose negative pressure?
When the external environment is safe, but toxic and harmful gases are generated inside, negative pressure is preferred.

The Offshore living units is a module specially designed for the accommodation, sanitation, kitchen, office and storage room on vessel. The container structure meets the DNV2.7-1 standard and A60 fire protection requirements.

In environments such as offshore oil platforms, chemical processing plants, floating vessels, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO), most of the electrical and instrumentation facilities inside movable offices, container houses, etc. cannot satisfy the explosion-proof requirements of hazardous areas, the positive pressure mode can block the dangerous flammable gas out of the container, so as to achieve the overall explosion-proof function.
 
The principle of positive pressure explosion-proof container is to transport "clean and safe" air from a distance into the container through the air duct, "wash" the air in the container and maintain the pressure difference in the container, so as to ensure that the non-explosion-proof electrical equipment in the container is in the Safe area"to achieve the purpose of explosion-proof.

The positive pressure container provided by TLS meets DNV2.7-1, IEC60079-13:2017, and A60 fire rating, and can be used in ZONE2| ZONE1 area.
The built-in CPFG control system integrates PLC control system with man-machine interface and peripheral equipment. 
The Positive pressure explosion protection and fire control system mainly includes the following main functions:

• Monitoring and control of positive pressure explosion-proof system;
• Detection and monitoring of fire | flammable gas | toxic gas | sound and light alarm;
• Real-time monitoring display system alarm and fault status, and keeps historical records, and provides system alarm and fault signal to the remote central control system.
• The system automatically controls the shutdown of the output safety power supply | emergency shutdown | accepts remote shutdown control and other functions.

The operation modes of the control system are: positive pressure operation mode, bypass operation mode and manual emergency output power supply selection operation mode. Different operation modes can be easily selected according to the needs of the use site to achieve the purpose of safe and reliable operation of the system, convenient system maintenance and fast power supply.

Mud Logging Cabin is also known as Offshore power unit, LWD Cabin.  Basically used to store logging instruments, located in Zone1 or Zone2.
The interior of the Mud Logging Cabin is usually a positive pressure environment, which effectively isolates the entry of toxic and harmful gases and provides a safe and comfortable working environment for the internal staff.
