Positive pressure and negative pressure are relative to the pressure in the surrounding space.

Positive pressure: the air supply volume is greater than the exhaust volume. The indoor air is under positive pressure. Combined with the air conditioning unit, the cleanliness of the air sent into the container can be guaranteed.
Positive pressure is preferentially applied to containers where the external environment is harsh (such as ZONE 0, ZONE 1, and ZONE 2) and the internal environment is secure.
Please download the A60 offshore pressurised container product brochure for reference.

Negative pressure: the air supply volume is less than the exhaust air volume, and the room is under negative pressure. The surrounding air flows into the space and is discharged through the exhaust outlet for unified treatment.
Negative pressure is preferred in containers where the external environment is safe but the interior will produce toxic and harmful gases.

The container lab is a kind of self-contained and movable module that fully meets the requirements of the laboratory. The laboratory container is fully insulated and can operate in extreme weather conditions. It is completely independent and has the necessary compressed air, lighting, and ventilation systems. It can be customized to the customer's needs.

The container described herein is designed for offshore containers, and is suitable for the environmental conditions imposed by these modes of transport for the carriage of general cargo by road, rail and sea (above or below deck).

All materials used in the construction will be to withstand extremes of temperature range from -20 to +60 without effect on the strength of the basic structure and watertightness.

A offshore laboratory contain has potential sources of release such as hydrocarbon liquid and gas samples, and vapors from heated hydrocarbon liquids. Some equipment is not designed for hazardous area which it could present an ignition source. The laboratory container is designed by using external extracting system for the toxic fumes (Ex certified) from the fume cupboard. Other electrical equipment inside the lab container is also certified by Ex approvals, including split-type air conditioner, lighting, sockets, distribution boards, etc. Negative pressure is maintained by using exhaust blower and speically designed air-lock system.
